About Wash and Lulu’s Soaps
We love cats! We love soap! We love making fun soap shaped like cats (and dogs, mermaids, unicorns, and bars, etc)!
Wash and Lulu’s Soaps was founded by Bonnie Deanne and Sarah Prink, two cat lovers who were looking for a fun, useful, creative outlet. Bonnie and Sarah got to work, finding the most fun shapes, scents and colors and blending them with the most gentle, nourishing soaps possible. Bonnie and Sarah both have allergies, sensitive skin, and migraines. They wanted to make a soap that worked for them and folks like them. Therefore, they choose to use the gentlest goat milk bases to create their soaps. These soaps have been tested and loved by customers with skin allergies, eczema, and psoriasis. They are also gentle and safe enough for kids! Because heavy fragrances trigger allergies and headaches, Wash and Lulu’s Soaps are scented with essential oils or very mild fragrances. The soaps are colored with natural mica pigments. Basically, if something doesn’t work for Bonnie and Sarah’s delicate little bodies, it doesn’t go into their products.
As their business expanded, Bonnie and Sarah have introduced body butter, lotion bars, and cold process soaps (coming soon!) into their line of products. Each of these products are hand-made with quality natural ingredients.
Want to meet Bonnie and Sarah and see our products first hand? We have an annual booth at the Oregon Renaissance Faire, as well as other craft fairs around the Newberg, Oregon area. Check out the News tab to see where they will be popping up next!
Who are Wash and Lulu then? As pictured above, Washburn, aka Wash, was Bonnie’s lovey orange boy kitty. Lulu was Sarah’s sassy tortie cat. Sadly, both cats have crossed the rainbow bridge, but their memory lives on in our cat soaps that hopefully bring smiles and sweet smells to our customers.
